Frente a la puerta principal del Mercado, al lado de la Oficina central de Correos, suelen establecerse puestos de mercadillo donde encontramos diferentes artículos de bisutería, artesanía, ropa, etc. Habitualmente suele estar muy concurrido y con frecuente animación callejera.

Una de las mejores y más bonitas tradiciones de Cádiz una pena que el abandono de un ayuntamiento negligente lo condene al olvido y a que cada vez haya menos vendedores de calidad que van siendo sustituidos por yonkis y borrachos.

Hace años, esto era muy diferente. Recuerdo recorrer sus callecitas, en familia, buscando cualquier útil o simplemente disfrutando de la tradición y este comercio tan peculiar y popular en Cádiz. Hoy en día, MUY POCOS PUESTOS, y apenas encuentras algo de calidad. Así no funciona. Ya no es atractivo.

Hay un puesto con bolsos de cuero con un hombre sin dientes na más que quejándose de que se quiere jubilar.Me dijo 3 veces que un bolso costaba 20€ 'mira que precio pissa' 'buenísimo'...Y a la que voy a pagarle me dice que son 30 €...que se había equivocado ,que ya la cabeza no le funciona.
